You Can Believe It

Certain Celebrity Correctness ?
click to go there
Its time has come,
with 'Gossip Cop'.

Their credo is "When a story appears on the Web, in print or on air, Gossip Cop will be on the scene, separating fact from fiction. Every day we’ll be posting new stories, photos, and video – and busting bad dish."

For example,

You'll be happy to know that ‘CSI’ Did Not “Ban” Justin Bieber.

So now when you jump into the shallow end of the gene pool, you'll be less likely to bump your head on some bad dirt.

I know I'll sleep better... while at my computer.

Also just for fun,
here's the U.S. band GOSSIP singing
'Love Long Distance'

Sheen Shuns Sense & Sensibility

Because that's how he and his sloth pals roll?

I'm amazed by all the creativity on the web just trying to make sense of the latest missives from actor Charlie Sheen.
But I think its an impossible task:
On drugs…
“I am on a drug. It’s called 'Charlie Sheen'.
It’s not available. If you try it once, you will die.
Your face will melt off...”

On beating addiction…
“I closed my eyes and made it so with the power of my mind
...AA. It’s a silly book written by a broken-down fool.”

On his own in-home rehab…
“...that we labeled the Sober Valley Lodge.
… its primary client achieved radical success.”

On discussing his behavior with his kids…
“Talk about an education. And then, like, this, and then that’s the guy, and that’s our dad and we can get all the answers and the truth? Wow, 'winning!'...”

On being special…
“I will not believe that if I do something then I have to follow a certain path because it was written for normal people. People who aren’t special. People who don’t have tiger blood and Adonis DNA.”

On being tired…
“I’m tired of pretending I’m not a total bitchin’ rock star from Mars.”

On life…
“...my life is so much more bitchin’ than yours. I planned it this way.”

Newsflash...
"...I am special. I will never be one of you."

On what people think…
“If people think I’m insane...
I have no interest in their retarded opinions.
I’m gonna live my life the way I want... they can just find the most comfortable chair in their small house and sit back and enjoy the show.”
Enjoy? Not the word I'd choose.

(hardly a poster-boy for Miss Manners, is he?)

His poor kids. All -five- (!) of them.

ETA - Charlie Sheen's strong moral code:

Howard Stern announced a 'Charlie Sheen Beauty Pageant' for his Thursday show, with the girls that Charlie used to pay to have sex with. Charlie wasn’t amused and said he felt burned by the girls.

Sheen said “Shame on you…” to the girls.

Now I'm truly speechless.

Colorful Character

aka Glam Garb Game Guy?...
orig @ DailyMail.co.uk
I was browsing through the online version of the Daily Mail looking for an art inspiration when I came upon this crazy image.

Its actor
David Arquette
all dolled up in purple and yellow (& gimmicks) for a Laker's game.

So look below to see him as my left-handed 'Art Every Day' in digital pastel for day 15 of 30.

Top Bid = Top Chef

la TOUR

Get your bids in!

The NY Drama League's annual Benefit Gala Auction has begun, and one item is a Tour of Top Chef:

#-139 This 'priceless' VIP package includes:

4 VIP tickets to a Top Chef Tour show
(* pick any 2010 Tour stop)
Meet and greet with TC chefs
Tour of the Top Chef Tour Kitchen
Top Chef gift bag, including items such as
an autographed Quickfire cookbook,
Top Chef t-shirt
Top Chef apron
etc...

Highest bid so far is $ 650

Woo, its getting expensive. But not as expensive as going to the auction in person. Tickets to the event start at $750, going up to $1,995, or $7,500 to reserve a table. And add to that whatever ca$h you plan to spend on drinks or the auction itself...

Online auction is here: Bidding For Good .

* Just 2 weeks left to bid - I'm wondering how high it will go, because the online bids are just the beginning. They will continue to allow additional bids at the gala event itself.

Are drama geeks also foodies? - Guess we'll find out.

I needed to find a date. So I decided to ask Google for a
comedian - musician - celebrity.

I should have been more specific...

And having seen that bunch... he's perfect:

{2 min}
1. He's exotic (from the UK)
2. He's got a fun accent
3. He'll never run out of something to say.
Enabling me to just smile, nod, and hog the bubbly.

Now I've got the dress, and I'm ready to go:

Kingsize of Pop

Recently released photo of MJ's bedroom.

click for close-up of 'Last Supper'
*click* to see close-up of the painting

Don't know what I expected he'd have over his bed...

MJ's 'apostles': Lincoln, JFK, Edison, Einstein (MJ) Walt Disney, Charlie Chaplin, Elvis, Little Richard. (He commissioned the painting from an artist that did others in his house) Why this eight?

Just can't wrap my head around it; how odd.

{article} Among the videos left piled high in Jackson’s cramped bedroom were documentaries on Bruce Lee and Adolf Hitler, a tv series, American Juniors, (teen talent show) and two self-help parenting videos.
Hopefully he bequeathed that last pair to his relatives.

One last thing - who would be your apostles?
